WebMCP Registry

1. Overview

WebMCP Registry ("we", "our", or "the Service") is a public index for WebMCP tool contracts. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

2. Information We Collect

When you sign in using GitHub or Google OAuth, we receive and store:

Your email address
Your display name
Your profile avatar URL (from your OAuth provider)
A unique identifier from your OAuth provider

When you submit a domain, we store the domain name and associate it with your account. We do not collect payment information, location data, or any information beyond what is necessary to operate the Service.

3. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account
To associate submitted domains with your account
To display your name and avatar in the dashboard
To send transactional communications if needed (e.g., verification status)

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate:

Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure
GitHub OAuth — optional sign-in provider
Google OAuth — optional sign-in provider
Vercel — hosting and deployment

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Domain entries you have submitted will be retained in the public registry unless you request removal.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security practices. Authentication is handled by Supabase, which uses secure session tokens and HTTPS. We do not store passwords.
