1. Acceptance
By accessing or using WebMCP Registry ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What the Service Is
WebMCP Registry is a public index of WebMCP tool contracts. It allows developers to submit, discover, and verify tool definitions published at their domains.
3. Your Account
You may sign in using GitHub or Google OAuth. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must not share your account or use it for unauthorized purposes.
4. Submitting Domains
By submitting a domain, you represent that:
- You own or are authorized to represent the domain
- The tool contracts served at that domain are accurate and lawful
- You will not submit domains for the purpose of spam, phishing, or abuse
We reserve the right to remove any domain submission that violates these terms or is otherwise harmful.
5. Public Data
Domain names, tool names, descriptions, and schemas submitted to the registry are public. Do not submit confidential or sensitive information as part of a tool contract.
6. API Usage
The WebMCP Registry API is provided for programmatic access to public registry data. You may not use the API to scrape, flood, or abuse the Service. We reserve the right to rate-limit or block access that disrupts normal operation.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy of registry data, or fitness for any particular purpose. Tool contracts listed in the registry are submitted by third parties — we do not verify their correctness beyond domain ownership.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WebMCP Registry shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
